When I first began using a screen reader for text to speech, it put me to sleep. B-O-R-I-N-G! Or, the voice was so annoying that I would rather continue to strain my eyes than listen to it read what was on my screen. Thanks to growing technology, I would rather listen to kindle books read by Alison (iPad) or Alexa than many narrators. My adventure into Kindle books brought me to the Mitzy Moon Series by Trixie Silvertale. For years I have listened to self-improvement books, heavy crime books, or historical mystery romance. I wanted a light-fun reading. I found it in cozy mysteries on Kindle.
Some people frown at cozies because they are a shorter read. I don’t want a book that is ten hours long. I’ve read them for years via NLS (National Library Service Talking books). I’m not putting them down at all. I have many favorite authors.
Trixie Silvertale, like the other cozy book authors, write at least four books a year. They are creating series to get their ranking on Amazon, leading to more readers. I love Mitzy Moon, who went from being a barista trying to make ends meet to an inheritance of a bookstore. The bookstore comes with the ghost of her late Grandmother that she never met until now. I’ve read each book, enjoying how Trixie has developed the characters. Each time I’m done with one, I can’t wait until the next. She has a new boxed set, that I thought you may like.
